"Absolutely delicious. The spring rolls with peanut sauce were amazing. Unfortunately we didn't snap a pic before we devoured them. The fried rice was delicious, and the pho broth was some of the best I've ever tried. Highly recommend!"

"This has got to be one of my faves if not the fave Phở restos in the Valley. Those of you who’ve read my reviews know I love and know Phở… and of my persistent seeking out for a ‘legitimate and traditional’ Phở! Aside of its non-descript, simple and no-frills interior and location, yet relaxed and accommodating – the offerings are to write home about. Whether ordering bun bo hue, shrimp and pork spring rolls, Asian salads or the rice noodle soups, its really, really good. It appears all the dishes have been excellent to date, nonetheless at the core of it all is the Phở. My favorite Phở Tai Nam is delectable. With tender meats, amazing broth, one of the better renderings of seasoning I’ve tasted. Wife’s Phở Tai was perfectly to her liking. I was also impressed with remarkably fresh accoutréments of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños, lime wedges and Basil leaves! Phở Number One puts together extraordinary presentation with precise amount of beef bone flavor of its broth and just the right measure of onion and ginger with the perfect dash of fish sauce – kudos to the kitchen, it’s almost perfect. Ăn ngon miệng nhé!"

"Went out for lunch with my brother looking for more places that also offer vegetarian options for him and we were in the mood for Vietnamese. This was one of the results closest to us and as soon as we walked in we were seated, the menu provided a vegetarian section for him to choose from. I ended up ordering the spring rolls and the beef meatballs pho, while he ordered the vegetarian vermicelli bowl. Food arrived very fast. I always taste the broth of the pho before I add condiments and was happy with how delicious the broth was, no extra fish sauce or salt needed. At the end I noticed the fridge with some desserts and saw they had basil seed, ordered it and it was the perfect amount of sweet with the sweetener they gave me. Will come back to try the Bun bo hue and papaya salad."

"Wonton soup, house combo fried rice, tempura shrimp, grill beef with betel leaf and grill pork, noodle soup with well done brisket. The food is well done and well prepared. Allot of different taste , fresh and excellent on your palate. I always come here for the fried combo rice for lunch. Wanted to try some other combination. Very cool and quite atmosphere. Very family centered. Finish it off with steam banana cake.. yum yum.."

"First time coming here, I was doing business in East Mesa and decided to do a quick stop for lunch. They provided recommendations and it hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Mesa again."
